In 1999, the American Society on Aging (ASA) recognized the importance of this new industry and Moving Solutions’ role in defining and articulating its values, by naming Moving Solutions Business of the Year. Moving Solutions has been leading the industry ever since.

Defining Ethics and Standards

Leading with vision, in 2002 Moving Solutions helped found the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) and Margit Novack, Moving Solutions President and Founder, became the organization’s first president.

Sharing Wisdom

Recognizing the unmet need for move management services in every state, Moving Solutions was the first organization to develop a training program that helped create dozens of new businesses across the country.

Safeguarding Clients and Their Belongings

We believe that the people we send into our clients’ homes define the quality of an organization. Moving Solutions invests substantially in employee training and in 2007, created eSMMART -- the industry’s first employee training program. We believe that developing best practices and sharing them with others, professionalizes the entire industry. Comprised of competency-based online courses that include film, eSMMART helps safeguard clients and their belongings by defining the industry’s first standards for employee training. Individuals who successfully complete eight eSMMART courses, a Certificate of Achievement in Senior Move Management.

Innovating

Moving Solutions leads the industry again with development of web-based business management applications that will be available to all move management businesses. Completion is scheduled for winter, 2008 or early 2009.
